I have done my Assignment 3

After all the sweat and hard work, I had finally done my Assignment 3. Handed in the assignment today, I felt so relieved. This morning in the computer laboratory, the whole class was under the atmosphere of joy and also tiredness at the same time. Everyone looks so tired in the class. Well, I know last night was a sleepless night for many of us. I saw quite a number of friends in instant messeger last night :)

However, from this assignment I have got myself a chance to apply those skills that I have learned from the earlier tasks. I think that the skill that I have used the most is the photo editing skill. I found this skill very useful when I intended to create electronic flash cards. For instance, by using the photo editing skill learned I managed to select only a certain picture that I wanted out of the whole picture. Besides, by using photo editing skill too, I managed to make the background of the pictures transparent so that there will not be a white colour area on a coloured background.

Previously there was a task that we had to come out with a story on e-book. The experience of creating e-book was a great back up for me in completing this assignment too. I found that creating e-book is very good as teacher can save the hassle in all the cutting, pasting, and colouring jobs. Hence, e-book has been very handy to me in doing this assignment.

This assignment gave me the early exposure of the life during teaching practice. We have to get used to creating lesson plans everyday as later during teaching practice we will have to come out with different lesson plan for each class.

In the class today we were given exposure on different types of softwares. The softwares shown are very good as in they can help the pupils learn. There are a lot of inputs in the software, whereby the pupils can choose what skills to be tested. However, when we were asked to explore softwares, the cd that was given to our group could not be opened by the computer. Hence, I think I will try to get a copy from some of my friends later to be evaluated.
